« A real hello world!

Redesigning Peru21’s Website

Just a quick note to let you know, today We’ve launched early this morning the redesign for Peru21 Website, a local news paper here in Peru.

Some details to highlight are the strong use of jQuery, CSS (with a Blueprint background), XHTML 1.0 Strict (ok, there’s no valid markup yet, but We’re still working on!), Flash-based MediaPlayers are still in AS2 (We’ll be updating to AS3 in the next weeks).

And lastly, share my gratitude for the hard job done to: Daniel, Mara, Lis (from Web design team) and Cesar, HD, Carlos, Julio (from the LAMP developers - warriors- team).

    Kudos for the launch! There are still some rough edges I’ve been seeing here and there, but overall it’s a great site, I like it probably even more than the EC.com one (less convoluted, at least).

    If things go as planned, I expect to write something on my blog XD (ZOMGWTFBBQ RLY? CAN I HAZ YOUR BABBIES?)

    Osea no entiendo como es eso.. Osea yo era de tu “equipo” ajajaj yo pense q quien dirijia el “Team” era Jose.. no? O.o…

    Ta bien Ta bien… por lo menos tu mencionas a los q tambien trabajamos en ese diseño… MAL por los otros q se tiran todo el credito!!!! Ta bien erik.. te perdono porq haz trabajdo duro!!! xD
